Yes that script is ok too.
The main difference between them is that alonedarkx is the old one released when quickbms didn't implement yet the compression algorithm.
Probably I have to remove it from my website.

You can use the reimport feature of quickbms (section 3 of quickbms.txt) BUT it doesn't work with the files that use the pak_explode compression because it's a decompression-only algorithm.
