Hi, I posted this question on XeNTaX a few days ago, but got no response so far so I decided to ask it here too so more people see it.

So I have all the pak files from the PC version of FF7 Remake and I want to extract all the game audio. First I extracted the uasset/uexp files with umodel from gildor.org. I wasn't sure how to extract audio from those files and the only thing I could find was the SABMABRipRT.exe tool posted on XeNTaX (https://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?t=22154). It created mab files roughly the same size as the uexp files and I don't know what to do now.

Can somebody explain to me how to get the audio files? And what exactly are SAB/MAB files? This is my first time doing something like this, so I'm a bit lost.

Thanks!

EDIT: Solved the problem with foobar2000 with the vgmstream plugin which can play mab/sab files and convert them to flac.

Mind if you give us an audio dump? I've trying to extract the files myself.
