general frostbite ebx editing? (not game specific)

i'm working on some mods for battlefront but have hit a stumbling block, there's some large files that i can export to xml and edit but the frosty editor only supports importing back .bin files.

i found a tool ebx inspector on this forum but it wasn't what i was looking for as what i hoped to do was find and replace batches of values in notepad which allows me to edit stuff in no time.

right now i have to edit the values in frosty one by one which so far has taken many hours.

just wondered if anyone has created a tool to convert ebx to xml and back again? or an editor that has quick editing of xml inside the ebx?

done extensive searching on google, duckduckgo for something that'll universally open and edit .bin or .ebx but just find mod tools for dragon age, fifa etc which i'm not looking for.
