I'm having a lot of trouble getting the stuff extracted from this particular game. I've looked in the binary but I've got no idea if there's a passcode for this encrypted DATA.CVM volume. I have CVM-Tools but it's... not my strong suit, this decompilation stuff. I've been futzing about in PCSX2 debugger and all but I'm lost. I've made a texture mod via PCSX2 but honestly, I'm wanting to try and have a deeper look and perhaps edit databases or such.

I'll attach the executable in the hope the password or something is in it. There's some stuff about the DATA.CVM at about 0x413CE0, noted that in HxD. Virtua Pro Football is a sister game and that had the password nearby, I assume the devs hid it better this time. That had a thread here at viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17682 anyway which I found via google.

Try this password:

Code:
VDATA

If it's wrong, then I don't know anymore. Probably it's like Virtual-On Marz where it doesn't store the password anywhere or don't even use password to decrypt the header info but with it's own decryption routine.
