Hi all!

Looking for someone who can turn the extracted Diablo 4 texture files into a commonly used image format and walk me through how to do it for future updates. Using the CASCExplorer program, I've been able to extract all the files from the game, but I'm stuck on what to do after. From what I've read here, there's a header and a body file that possibly need to be merged before the LaTex files can be turned into .dds files.

Here's a link to a sample pair of files:

Meta folder (header) example file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/jxmgp5y3 ... s.tex/file
Payload folder (body) example file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/t39xcoy3 ... s.tex/file

I have a script that will bulk convert .tex to .dds and .png: https://imgur.com/B54trsO
I'm not sure if it works for files that aren't the ones starting with "2d" (since the other files are textures that go on models, and i have no interest in checking if they work/i dont have access to models anyway), but i could add support for other files if needed.

Can walk you through the steps, there's not that many steps involved.
