Hi! I want to make a localization patch for this game but I can't change directly to files. HEX editor is worked but it's really hard.

files:

resources.assets\resources_00001.-5 (Deutsch)
resources.assets\resources_00002.-5 (English)
resources.assets\resources_00003.-5 (Spanish)
resources.assets\resources_00004.-5 (French)

This doesn't work for me, it inputs a 0 kbyte file with nothing in it. What am I doing wrong, do I need to extract the files with a different program? (I use a QuickBMS script to do so)

Okay, after a month hiatus or so I tested this tool. You can edit the text with it, but you can only write strings as long as the original one, or maybe shorter.

So basically it just lets you extract the text from the game, but if you make it longer then the game won't start.

I'm not talking about "Hey this file has 1325 characters in it, and if I write 1326 it crashes". I'm talking about "This ONE line is 5 characters, and if I write 6 or more it crashes". I hope you understand what I mean.

Any chance of updating the tool?

For Import/Export resources.assets file use UnityEX.

Export *.-5 files, then use swuforce's tools, translated -.5 files import back into resources.assets.

Should swuforce's tool work with different files too?
I tried to use it to modify a .-22 file (by renaming its extension .-5) but got an empty .txt file as a result.
