Is it possible to mod Lego Marvel's Avengers without .Dat files?

The main game executable file (LEGOMARVELAvengers.exe) cannot be runned without .DAT files,in cases if .dat files will be deleted,game will crashes.
But this simply cannot be,because all previous games work fine without them.
So,what happened now? TT Games have done an ultimate protection against user modifications :shock: ? or maybe there is any vulnerability or exploit?

P. S Why do I ask this? well,the LMA game devs is forgot/not added,very popular characters of the Marvel Universe,like Spiderman,X-Men, and etc.I want to fix this,by making a mod.But to make a mod,I need to deprive game executable file possibility of loading dat archives,or something like that.
P. P. S And yes,i know what i post this question in wrong forum,but i simply does not have a choice,because it's most active forum.Also,sorry for my bad english.

I know since LEGO Worlds came around and the community wouldn't stop being persistent in cracking the archive and modding it (mainly Luigi to thank for extraction ) when TTGames did not want this for their WIP game, the ability to play with extracted files was removed. Due to this case, the same with releases of all games following this incident maybe have been put to do the same thing.

In other words, it's not possible to "mod" or at least play their LEGO games without .dat files.
If you wish to mod their recent LEGO games, you have to reimport the modified file into the .dat archive.

The Reimport function of Quick BMS does not work for modifed icons,text,anims.models and .etc
And thats why i'm created this thread,i'm searching for a way,to run a game executable file without .dat files,or for some alternative of QuickBMS which
can completly re-import all modified anims,models,meshes and .etc
