You have to specify the full name of the game.

There are 2 files there, one is a dat with random data in it except a 0x3f800000 at the beginning which is the float value 1.0.
The other file looks more like a compiled lua with the magic replaced by \x1bwps so replacing it and using a decompiler may work.
