hello all
am new here so wanna make this quick
here's a link to encrypted .iwd file from closed beta version of cod online (chinese)
there are some worth sounds(english sounds, says chinese on the file ikr) in this file but its encrypted, if somebody can decrypt this, it would be awesome
if you need some .exe files to help you get the key or smthing, just reply and i will upload it

?? what do you need? the whole game or?
i can send you a link from where i downloaded it from, my upload speed is 70kbs so...uploading a whole game (6gb) will take a week lol

it is an usual zipfile? Open it with winrar and see 5434 files 2190 folders. But i cannot read Chinese and All is weired characters can't tell if this because Encoding or encryption haha 93% compression ratio. This is dated 03.09.2013 08:40??

like i said, its encrypted, thats why you see all those files and weird letters, means its encrypted.
this file is from the older version of cod ol so what about the date?
there is a tool named iwd decryptor, it was made for modern warfare 2 (iw4), it was made especially for files like these to decrypt them and extract in the directory
but the problem is, all other cod ol .iwd files are able to be extracted, but not any of the .iwds that name starts with localized_...iwd, weird
i asked the owner of the tool to update it or smthing, he said the project is abanded or smthing idk

i really need those sounds...

i don't think you can decrypt it without exe. I believe you could dump files from running process. It uses some Type of virtual Filesystem mounting of Game archives. For modern warfare there was a dll injection method of gamefile Dumping but it was for files with ending .ff (lzma). At this Date No encryption On iwd files was used.

and could i dump those files from cod online? in case you didnt know, cod online is running on mw2 engine (iw4), it pretty much runs the same,
the currect version. they packed files in .ifs format, there is a tool already to extract those files.
the version i have isnt packed, its just like mw2, main,iwds, .ff files, etc i can even launch it, but when you come to the menu then says like not connected so you cant do anything, maybe if i run it, and while its running, staying in the menu, i could dump those files, right? but how, am noob in those things
