The format of the archive has no space for making difference between encrypted and non-encrypted files so I don't have idea about them.
Maybe upload one of them just in case someone can understand what it is.

Strange because it works perfectly with the samples provided here in 2012:
http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=8063

The fact that you can extract the dat files means it's working.
There are no folders or filenames in the tab index file.

Anyway upload the tab file and the first 10 megabytes of the arc file, and we will check it.

The sharing setting of your file is not set as public.

As I have already said, if quickbms extracted all the files without error messages (file coverage bigger than 90%), it means that it works and there is NOTHING to do so it's totally useless in that case to upload the files.

So the script works perfectly and your problem is with the content of various extracted files which is not a standard format like jpg, png and so on, but it's a custom format which is perfectly normal on games.

In what types of files are you interested?
3d models? images?

It's NOT a problem of the script.
You have to figure out by yourself the custom formats of ALL the different types of extracted files, ok?

You don't have to write scripts. You must understand the formats first.
It's a big work moreover if you have no filenames (because they are not stored in the archive) and you have no experience with 3d and graphics stuff.
quickbms automatically assigns extensions to the nameless files based on their magic values (the first bytes of the files, for example "DDS "-> .dds) so if you have just files with dat extension it means you have to work on them one by one with a clear idea of what you want (do you want to change text? graphics modding? models modding? ripping the images? what???).

For me there is no problem to keep the topic open (without bumps please) but I doubt someone else will have updates.

Use Xentax for support on unknown files, they have a huge community with knowledge about 3d and graphics stuff.
Here we are mainly focused on archives extraction and that's already done perfectly by the existent script, so nobody here can help unfortunately.
Good luck!
