Hi everyone. I extracted the .pak file by this instructionNow i wonder, can i compress files back to .pak with some changes?

Can you say me how you extract with this script ? I don't really understand.... plz i search a change sound for fun gameplay no cheat or idk just for fun sound in the game :/

Hi guys, I'm a complete newbie to this unpacking stuff and was wondering if someone could help me unpack the files of Dead by Daylight. I always used Haoose's Unpacker to do it, but the devs of the game recently changed the 1 pak file into 40 pak chunks so that doesn't work anymore. I tried a script that is used for SFV but that doesn't completely extract everything. How do I go about unpacking the game now? Thanks for reading!

Use this script http://aluigi.org/bms/filecutter.bms on that pak archive and upload the 2 files it generates, I'm quite sure it uses a small customization like oodle compression instead of zlib or something similar.

It's a customization indeed.
CHUNK_OFFSET is a relative offset instead of the normal absolute offset.
The problem is that there is no way to recognize this archive from the others so I have implemented a work-around, script 0.4.20.

Sorry my fault I'm using this http://aluigi.org/bms/unreal_tournament_4.bms and everything unpacked thank you
but my game dosent open.if I click play game I got this error Failed to open descriptor file '../../../DeadByDaylight/DeadByDaylight.uproject'
normaly I'm using UE4PakUnpacker but I think Haoose left this software.Dosen't work to new system.

Look, UE4 can Read Files from Main folder (Name of the game)
maybe your files has been moved or changed
