After using the script, i tried with "fpg edit 2009" to extract the fpg files of the stages, but the tga that i extracted looks bad.

The game uses the same kind of files for the sor maker mods (without a dat file, because in mods the files are not protected) and when i extracted the tga of the fpg files of the stages, they all looked good.

Could be that quickbms its breaklng in some way some of the fpg files of "Sor.dat" when it extract the files with the script?

I checked the script and it's very simple, data is dumped as-is without encryption or obfuscation or other operations performed on it.
And the OFFSET and SIZE fields are simple too, just absolute OFFSET and normal SIZE without space for mistakes.

That means that the script has no errors?

Because some of the stage backgrounds look like this (Tried with all the fpg editors)
