PSP Document.dat extract images

Anyone know how to extract the images from a PSP document.dat file? (PS1 game manual). Popstation gui has an extract document.dat option but that just gives me a runtime error. I include the decrypted file (generated from psxtract). Thanks

Anyone?

I have tried to unpack the document.dat using a tool called docextract.ext, but I get garbled pngs. Some of the original image is visible, but the rest is either black or messed up. It looks like I'm very close at getting to them.

Here is the folder of pngs that I have extracted so far:
