Hi,

Currently, i'm trying to extract model from a games from Eurocom : Harry Potter Kinect (Xbox360).
But the game folder of iso is weird : It has a lot of (.bin,.000) files.
I used QuickBMS with 007_goldeneye_ps3.bms and gforce.bms on the biggest files (On filelist.000 which has surely the models) but actually i have just a bunch of .dat files in out.
It's my first use of this software and i don't understand if it is the game format which does not match with the script or if it is me.

Thanks for your help

At the end of the extraction quickbms will tell you the what has been the "coverage" percentage, if you see a value bigger than 90% it means that the extraction was successful.
If you can upload the bin file I will give it a look when I have free time.

Try the following and let me know if the result is correct (coverage and content of the extracted files).

Open the 007_goldeneye_ps3.bms script with a text editor and add the following instruction at line 38 above the "log" command:
Code:
math SIZE * 0x800

Thanks

The coverage sounds good (91%) and the total size seems more consistent (2,1 gb).
I have .dat files but how can i open these .dat files to show their reals contents ?

Are they all dat files?
If yes then I think that it's not the only thing to fix in the script (offsets don't match the real offsets)

Yes , the files have a majority of .dat files (320 .dat files, 1 .geo files, 1 .z7w files and 1 .gbh files)

That seems to confirm the idea of the wrong offsets.
Maybe upload the first 10 megabytes of the 000 file just in case there is another way to get the correct offset/size.

Use a hex editor for truncating the file.

No, there is absolutely no sense and reference between the filelist.bin you provided via pm and this filelist.000.

My opinion is that you provided wrong files referred to a different archive and index, no other ideas sorry.
I have attached the filelist.bin in case someone wants to waste his time.

I do have one though...
A screenshot showing the game directory just to see if the wrong files were provided.

Seems like the game used a bunch of archives.
In any case, upload just the filelist_boot.000(filecutter is your friend) and FILELIST_BOOT.BIN files.

Better to not use filecutter in this case.

My choice go for filelist_boot.bin filelist_boot.000 "or" EUROSOUND_USA.bin EUROSOUND_USA.000

EUROSOUND is ok.
filelist_boot is a mess like the first archive provided.
I think I'm not going to continue on this stuff.

Well, I wanted to help in a unreal engine project. Not sure if it's going through as I left. Original comment below, was a mistake being here, can't delete account and not an important task.

If it helps motivate to help, I would very much like to see these extracted as well. Send me files if you get them in extracted right :)
Listen to yourself and see if you can pass that off as an act of "help".
Get the files yourself then, your lazy bum! No one in their sane mind would send all of the game data to someone who wants it.
