Hello friends, I'm doing a translation posture of PS VITA's "God of War Collection" and would like to extract the videos from a translated rom of GoW2 (PS2) to replace in PS VITA.

The problem is that I can not extract all video files from ".iso" (probably something related to "parte2.pak") that is not present inside ".iso"

The image below compares the amount of video files originally extracted from PS VITA (left side), with the amount of video files extracted from translated ".iso" from PS2 (Right side):

When copying and pasting "part1.pak" into the same folder and renaming it to "part2.pak" I extract a larger amount of video files, but they become corrupted, as in the following image:

The tool I'm using for extraction is this: https://github.com/mogaika/god_of_war_tools/releases/download/build-001/god_of_war_tools.exe

Copy-pasting "part1.pak" and then renaming it as "part2.pak" isn't going to help, because the contents of these files tend to differ.

You can use vgmtoolbox for the ISO you're having problems with, especially since "part2.pak" is stored on the second layer of the disc. And since most programs I tried could only handle the first layer of the disc, vgmtoolbox is the only program I've seen that can handle it. Unfortunately I can't remember how to use that program yet.

Right-click your mouse through that highlighted folder(or partition, I don't know), and you'll see which ones you have to click. The rest is up to you.

Without success, it does not show a "part2.pak"

I meant the DVD9(8GB) ISO you opened with vgmtoolbox. It's possible to right-click on that file while you're in there.

Or may I ask you which ISO are you using this time?

In other words, all I asked is information on which ISO did open with on vgmtoolbox. I never asked you to post the download link, since I used to have it anyway. This is so that I can understand what kind of problem you're having. You've already answered by showing me the links anyway.

Besides, that ISO was shrinked to about 4GB in size(or probably crammed into that size as I took a tour on google regariding that ISO). The original ISO, in which the BR translation was based on, is about 8GB and has the "part2.pak" you're looking for.

BUT aside from what I've told you, if these files are as corrupted as you claim, then grab some hex editor program, open a file with it after you're done "installing" it, look through that file and send me an screenshot.

Sorry for the misunderstanding above.
Well, the problem is that I would like to extract the videos of this rom already translated so that I would only make the substitution in PSVITA.

The corrupted files that I had said before are referring to the "part2.pak" from another ".iso" (Original ISO - 7.80GB) and extract it along with the translated rom.
(I do not know if it was very clear, but maybe this image can help you):

I get it now, your goal is to extract the videos from the PT-BR translation of the game, and you're using these videos so that you can replace the original videos to the translated ones on the PSVITA version.

I can't do much to help you though, probably because I've never done stuff like that before.

Yes, now you have understood my purpose.
I have succeeded in extracting Rom videos translated from "God of War 1" and substitutes in vita, but I can not extract those from "God of War 2".

Thank you very much for your attention.

You can use the Xpert tool and the GOW2_PAK (PS2) plugin to extract the PART1.PAK & PART2.PAK.
I use this tool and the extraction is perfect.
