Now that we can extract and assemble npk files with GARbo's tool, another issue has developed. The mdl file structure seems to be different than the original japanese version and cannot be extracted/imported with the japanese tool or any other mdl tool I can find. In comparison with the original Japanese mdl, the steam version seems smaller.

Only for Blender249: animation importer for anm files.
First run script (alt p)for import meshes and bones from mdl file.
For autotexturing go to correct line in script and write your path to folder with images.

On stage model script crash.

I always hated 2.49's layout for some reason but I'll give it a try. I still need to find a way to repack the mdl files.
