Recently I have noticed few topics about modifying runtime values or files of games for cheating.
Currently there is no section of the forum about this topic and I think it would be interesting to add it in an existent category.

What you think about the "Game protocols and internals" section?
viewforum.php?f=18

Would be enough to rename it to "Game protocols, internals and cheating", after all the topics in that category cover just these internals stuff of games.
I'm only worried if there is the risk of transforming the forum in another cheating-related forum.

Feel free to provide your feedback and personal experience.

I'd say that sounds like a good idea.
What about, however, a "release" section?

What you exactly mean with "release"?

A dedicated section for complete projects.

Am I wrong or usually people sell cheats and there are better places dedicated to cheats?
What I mean is that probably there will be no real usage of a similar section (just like it happens with the "Savegame" one) and those that will use it probably will try to sell stuff or other users will just copy&paste the information found on other websites/forums dedicated to cheating or dedicated to specific games.

This is literally the first time in my life I hear about selling cheats.

I have no idea.

I actually meant a more "generic" release section, rather than one exclusively for cheats.

You are correct, cheats are most often sold now vs. being shared publicly anymore. Same goes for single player cheats/trainers. Most stuff like this is usually discussed on sites that are focused towards game hacking in general.

Cheat Engine's forums house most single player cheat discussions, while sites like UnknownCheats/MPGH/etc. house other more in depth cheating like multiplayer, first person shooters, and anti-cheat discussions. But any actual releases are generally sold on peoples private cheat sites.
