Hey,

So I was browing the sound folder of this game and noticed all the music had this *.raw extension, but I don't know what actual format though.

Could someone help me figure it out please?

Samples: (expired)

Thanks!

The codec seems the classical one used on Gamecube and Nintendo in general.
It can be recognized by the 8 bytes patterns visible with the hex editor when you scroll the file.

It's now a complete mystery. I can't find any info about those files.

You could try asking on the HCS forum, they're quite familiar with audio formats.

I think that most of your threads can be moved in the Audio section because here they don't have enough visibility for who checks them, your question is 100% audio.
Let me know if for you it's ok.

I suspect more information about the files can be found inside another archive named "packfile.dat), could you make a script for it please?

Link: (samples)

Thanks in advance.

It seems the filenames indicate offset for a specific file inside packfile.dat which holds the coefficients...

How you know that?
I mean, have you already tested it?

It's because the offset points to something which does look like a proper DSP ADPCM header.

I think I'm close to it.
