Hello! I've been trying to get the scripts of a VN game, Brothers Conflict
I've got to the SCRIPT folder but what I found are .dat files
Can someone please take a look?

There are many results on Google when you search "stcm2l" or "STCM2".
They seem a well known script format used in various japanese games:

Yes, I found the hkki tool earlier and tried to open *.dat file already but I keep on getting either (1) not a valid file message or a (2) got 0 texts message

I did send them a message through the forum where I found the binary of hkki but the last time they visited (according to their profile) was February 2016 so I'm not too sure if I'd be receiving a reply soon (although I do hope I do.)

I've also tried to run the file through some of the asmodean scripts I found online but no dice so far.
