Since the Dragon Age Inquisition tools have stopped being developed in 2015, I was wondering if someone could please write me a QuickBMS script for getting the audio files out of Dragon Age Inquisition .CAS archive and DLCs (especially Trespasser).

Could someone help? I'm trying to get the BGM off. And DAI tools doesn't cover everything.

Thanks. I didn't think of looking for frostbite script.

I got the files out but they aren't understandable, from either DLC .toc files or .toc files inside the game core folder.

Would it be possible for . to create a script similar to this one which, however, searchs for and extracts mp3 files from Frostbite archives?

The scripts extract all the files as they are stored in the archives.
I guess you probably mean a "converter". I don't know what's the audio format used in this game, I work only on extractors.
Take a look at they keyword "frostbite" in the Audio section of both zenhax and xentax

Happy new year!
Inquisition actually uses MP3s, like Origins. They are just built in a way that I have NO idea how to identify-use them.

Regarding my frostbite.bms script I think it's no longer good enough to work with the current archives because they are handled separately instead of one unique "thing".
It works well to dump nameless data directly from the cas files but it's necessary a real tool specific for this format, as far as I know daemon1 was working on it.
