Hi everyone, I have long wanted to make a translation for Fatal Frame II (PS2 version). I had given up because personal problems and lack of time, but today I managed to find the texts with an Hex editor, all the files, memos, subtitles, etc, and I wanted to continue
the project. But there is manys obstacles with the format files, the first is a tool for unpack/repack the "img_bd" archive, the second, if you rebuild the iso to change a single file, even using the CDVD-GEN and the Apache, the game won't work anymore, nor in the PS2 console, nor in PCSX2 emulator. It seems a checksum routine, the game don't accept changes in the files however small the changes.
Someone can help me to solve this problems? I'll post later a sample file of "img_bd" and of ELF executable.
