Hello all, I need some help with those dsPack archives coming from PC version of F.3.A.R. I've already tried these 2 scripts: dspackx one then f3ar_prebuild but got the same kind of error in both cases (which can be seen in attachment pictures).
So may I kindly ask someone to look into contents of my pack with the beginning as well as ending of Audio.dsPack along with crc.map produced by one of BMS files? I'd really appreciate that! Oh and if you need bigger cuts from original archive just ask me and I'll provide those!

Checked it about two month ago, use older version of quickbms and it should work with one of that scripts.

P.S.
Don't know why aluigi removed old versions from his site and now only 0.7.7 can be downloaded. There are a lot of scripts that don't work with new versions but work good with old ones.

Hard to say, because i dont remember for sure now. The only thing i can remember that i had problems with Condemned for xbox and ps3, but i made my own script for this game.

Condemned uses a similar format of FEAR so I suspect it may be a possible compatibility problem with this specific script/format... but it worked well last time I tried an archive of this format.
I'm not aware of problems with scripts running on the current version of quickbms

Well, this one for fear3 is one of them. If i remember others or it will happen again i'll notify you about this.

P.S.
No luck with fear3 compression? In one old topic you said you gonna reverse it.

Don't know if you still intrested, but when i was examining fear3 i've found something about LZD compression in .exe file, but no success at all. And one more thing - some compressed files are not complete. If you see TOC of main archive some files have same crc's and if you go to theit offsets you can see that they looks like one file splitted in two parts.

Do you have one of the samples in which the script doesn't work?
Here I have only two old samples and the script works in the same way with both 0.8.1 and 0.6.

The only thing I can do with the compression is trying to use the scanner.

sorry to revive the topic but is it possible to analyze the files again? they are not working. same initial error posting some samples.
