So, I'm on the hunt for some audio files of a PS Vita game (Crypt of the Necrodancer [JPN]), but I'm just unable to find a dump of the japanese version, which is the one that contains the files I want. The only thing I found was the pkg file, which I decrypted with PKGDecrypt. But files within are still encrypted with what (after having done some reading) I assume is the pfs encryption. Now my questions are, has there been any progress on figuring out the encryption method, can anything be done with the files in their current state, or am I out of luck until I find someone who can dump the game for me?

No, the files I have do not have the magic word "pf".

I fear I haven't provided enough information. The file I have is a game package .pkg file, which seems to have been directly downloaded from PSN. The game was not dumped from a PS Vita. I did use st4rk's PkgDecrypt on the .pkg file. I've read that the ouput files are still encrypted with a PFS layer. I've also read that the encryption method is still unknown. I thought maybe here somebody knows of a method to decrypt the files.

It can only be decrypted on a Vita running the minimum firmware required by the app. You must decryt the PKG, provide a license file, and install it with with NoNpDrm. Then use Vitamin / MaiDumpTool to dump the decrypted PFS files from memory.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Too bad I don't have a PSVita.
