The files are packed in pac files which can be extracted using http://aluigi.altervista.org/papers/bms ... dd_pac.bms
However the extracted files don't compress correctly using http://aluigi.org/papers/bms/others/lzs.bms
Any help?

In my opinion it's a slightly modified algorithm because if you launch quickbms -9 you can unpack some of those files but the content is not what you expect, Z:\ch04_sadaharu01_.brtexz should have a "bres" magic at the beginning but the result is invalid.
