I extracted it from E_DATA.PAK with QuickBMS using this script "spartan_total_war.bms"
It worked perfectly but i thought it's gonna give me .XDA files like God Hand that can be ripped by Foobar2000 with vgmstreamplugin
But it gave me these .mic files :o
The .MIC files contains the soundtrack, Because it's in SOUND Folder
Here is a sample to test https://jumpshare.com/v/MenBYIQwXYXv7T7b6Qaq
Is it lossy or lossless? if it's lossless i want to convert it to .wav
Please try your best

Sorry friend! Only a few .mic files are not recognized in foobar2000 with this plugin I do not know why, which is the case with this 551.mic file. Already the other audio files work perfectly.

No promises but maybe it's something we can fix in vgmstream if it's an issue regarding playback. Also, if it's ADPCM, which in this case it is, it's not lossless.

Actually it is lossless.. It is 1411kbps wav, I found this yesterday
https://www.zophar.net/music/playstatio ... rrior.html
now it plays perfectly with foobar2000.. each file have a tiny .MIH file that allows foobar to recognize it
I uploaded the same file with its .MIH if you wanna fix something in vgmstream.. if you put the 551.MIB in a folder without the .MIH file and open it in foobar it will double the length and the sound will not play correctly but with the .MIH file it gives you the real length and plays correctly
here is the same file if you don't want to download the full archive

Look again dude. Even though it claims to be reporting lossless, it's ADPCM. By definition it's lossy. What version of vgmstream are you using because I believe we fixed that bug that reports incorrect infos already.

Latest: http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_input_vgmstream
Right now it should be r1050-1001-gebdfed9 (officially at the time of this post)
