The only tool that can open these in a compressed state is https://github.com/gdkchan/Ohana3DS-Rebirth , however the DAE export is pretty medicore compared to it's sequel program https://github.com/gdkchan/SPICA which doesn't support decompression of files it's told to load, but is a lot better with exporting these models.

If it's any help here's the line that seems to have something to do with the on the fly decompression seeing as it has the magic there. https://github.com/gdkchan/Ohana3DS-Reb ... eIO.cs#L85
