Hi there, I was recommended here some time ago by aluigi.

I hope I'm posting in the right place - I'm looking for a way to deconstruct/recompile the 'pkg.idk' file inside the Grand Fantasia mobile game by X-Legend.

You can find this here:

https://tw.x-legend.com/gf/?class=&page=

I've decrypted the apk file using apktool:

https://ibotpeaches.github.io/Apktool/

and my aim is to create a fan translation - however unfortunately it seems that all of the strings are packaged away, and I can't seem to gain access to them.

I was hoping that somebody here may be able to assist with opening this apk so that these files can be accessed (at the very least if translation is not doable, so that features within the game could be better understood.)

Thank you for your time.

Not sure if that file is useful, and if it may be obfuscated or not because I see a 4 bytes format that may be just a sequence of numbers that don't match the names of the files.
For anyone else interested just to the file, this and other files are all available on ftp:
ftp://ftp.x-legend.com.tw/GFO/pkg/data/pkg.idx
All the files in that folder seem encrypted.
