I've encountered this compression a few times in Android games now but I have no clue where the compressed data starts at or what compression the type is... Can somebody take a look? Here are some samples: http://*USE_ANOTHER_FILEHOSTING*/345f733 ... samples.7z

Oh... right. I totally forgot about that obsolete format... wouldn't have guessed it was actually still used today. ;)
