I added the .bsm loader module to the 3D Object Converter v6.538, but I have a question.

The md_coatShape-skin.bsm file has references to the following external files:
scenes/chara/quark/tex/quark_costume1.etc
scenes/chara/quark/tex/quark_cuff.etc

Can you attach these files to a post?

I think the .etc file has references to the real texture files, in this case to the:
quark_costume1.dds
quark_cuff.dds

Unfortunately, I did not find a demo version of the game to get more sample files.
Can you send me some other sample files to me ([email protected])?

I hope you have all files for a complete model (.bm; .bsm; .etc; .dds).
I am waiting for your files.

Thank you for your files.

The luna\mdl\md_arm_LShape-skin.bsm has reference to the scenes/chara/luna/tex/lunar_skin.etc file.

Do you have this file?

I have added the .bm and .bsm loader modules to my program and released the 3D Object Converter v6.538 as a web update.
(Just copy the .dds texture files to the same folder where the .bm/.bsm files exist to get the textured view automatically.)

How to get the 3D Object Converter v6.538:
Please download the 3D Object Converter from http://3doc.i3dconverter.com and install it
or download the portable version and extract it into a folder.

Run the program and use the Help/check for updates function to get it.

I have released the updated i3DConverter for Mac and Linux versions also.

Hi there, sorry to revive another, even older thread, but I have some requests regarding these file formats.

Firstly, converting the BSM and BM model files does not completely capture the way the models in this game are stored. There are several models for different body parts, and each is disjoint. However, there exists a "scene.bsn" file in the folder for each character, and I would be surprised if this did not describe the way the models were meant to fit together. Additionally there are "motion" files that presumably describe animations in terms of this "scene". Being able to process the "bsn" file and export a combined model for a whole character would be a welcome improvement. For reference, I will attach a zip file that contains the whole folder structure for a single character model, as extracted from the PC version by the QuickBMS script for The Nonary Games.

Additionally, I am dissatisfied with the current solution for converting these files. The "3D Object Converter" is premium software that does not export the models correctly unless it is paid for. In my opinion, it would be best for preservation if a truly free solution exists, such as a Noesis plugin. This goes double if the solution is improved by considering the additional files mentioned above.
