So, I've been trying to rip out models from Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi with the Raging Blast Noesis script that revelation released about 8 or so years ago, but it has a tendency to crash when I do so. Both Raging Blast and Ultimate Tenkaichi use the .afs archive format. Extracting these archives with the QuickBMS/Base Noesis script only gives me .file files, but I actually need the .spr, .vram, and .ioram files. The Raging Blast script works like a charm with Raging Blast 1 and 2. Please help!

I tried doing the same thing a while back. I also tried it with another program called "AFSExtract" or something along those lines. That software said the files were too large, but it did the same thing for RB2 when I tried it with that. I would contact the guy who made the Raging Blast plugin over on Zentax, but from what I can gather, he isn't very active over there nowadays. You can try to contact him, but I'm not sure if he'll respond.

My theory as to why Ultimate Tenkaichi crashes Noesis is likely due to the files stored in Ultimate Tenkaichi. Think about it for a second.

Not only are there more damage iterations for the characters (notice the rips and tears in Goku's gi when beaten to High Spirit,) but there are also large boss battles and, in particular, the Hero characters are likely what's taking up most of the .AFS file. The reasoning behind Ultimate Tenkaichi crashing is probably due to the fact that they used different shaders for all of the colors the Hero characters have. It would line up with the fact that the .AFS overall is about 1.31 GB in total (if memory serves, it's been a hot minute since I did anything with the game.)
