Hello
I want to extract all the speech from Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2. I extracted the game files from the .iso (xbox 360).

Following this path /root>Kellergame>Content>Sounds
For RSV 1 I have 663 .SB4 files, 33 .SS4 files, one .SP4 file. In the subfolders for each language, 129 .SB4 files
For RSV 2 I have 538 .SB4 files, 41 .SS4 files, one .SP4 file. In the subfolders for each language, 468 .SB4 files.

I've been searching the internet for a decoder but didn't succeed so far.

I found a 12 years old thread here about the same problem : https://gamebanana.com/threads/67016
It seems there was a tool that was provided by a guy named turfster, couldn't find it. While searching his name on google I found two utilities for Prince of Persia (that uses .SB0 files too), persianRug.exe and Maki.exe but they failed to open .SB4 files... I tried a number of other things also, MultiEx Commander, foobar2000 with the vgstream component, Game extractor, Quick BMS, HxD editor, etc...
People mentionned the Unreal Editor used in Roboblitz could do something about .SB0 files, I didn't try this yet because it's not free and the demo wouldn't install properly on my computer. And also other people said it didn't work.

Here : http://pc.joshw.info/t/ (search for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2)
I found an archive containing music from the game, files format is .ogg.

During my research for a tool to extract .SB4, .SS4, .SP4 I came across a few posts that mentionned the .SB0 would be a kind of compression of .ogg Vorbis so it matches.

I'm wondering if the person who uploaded these files has a way of extracting those .SB0/.SB4 .SS4 .SP4 files to ogg... I assume he has one because I don't see how it could be possible to get them otherwise.
But I don't know who uploaded this, I can't find any credit or anything, it's all under this "pc.josh.info" index...

I also read something about .SB0 being a form of .ogg Vorbis but with a different sampling rate. It's mentionned here : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vorbis#Ap ... n_software
I'm not sure but I don't think 129 audio files would be enough for the speech of the first game, so I imagine the .SB4 must be archives containing multiple sound files ?

One thing I don't understand is everyone on the web refering to the same topic says they have .sb0 files but I don't have any and few threads mentions .sb4.

I know that's a lot to read, thank you for reading.
If you know anything or anyone that could help me, please give me a shout.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Broula
