Shooterspool 'x' at the end of the extention ?

The game is ShootersPool and every file is with extention like: *.xmlx *.pngx *.flx *.butx *.wavx and so on.
This 'x' at the end is one i want to figute out. Is is compression, encryption or what?
Please somebody to help me to edit these files :shock:

Yes encryption.
I don't see many people doing works on encryption lately so... good luck :)
