Hi y'all,

I release my tool for this game to public. Usage of the tool is following:

Code:

Resident Evil 2 Remake -- msg tool -- celikeins -- 2019.02.18
export: re2-msg-tool.exe mes_file_01.msg.14
           * Creates mes_file_01.msg.14.txt
import: re2-msg-tool.exe mes_file_01.msg.14.txt
           * Creates mes_file_01.msg.14.new

Thanks to Ekey for decrypt code, and to Rick for Gibbed.IO.

Have fun with translation!

Please tell me if it gives any error.

You should not delete any or or etc. They are special strings.

Did you open .pak file? Does this program be useful without opening the Pak file or without reimporting the Pak file?

It would be nice if someone collected and shared the necessary tools for all the work to be done because many of us couldn't collect the appropriate tools. if have.

i cannot open pak file. How can i open the pak file, export and import text ?

How does the tool exactly work?
I have the extracted .14 files e. g. mes_sys_tofu.msg and the re2_msg.exe in the same folder alongside the Gibbed.IO.dll file and except a black window popup which immediately vanishes I don't see any kind of .txt created.

You just drag and drop .msg.14 file onto exe.
