I don't think, LUABinaries doesn't distribute v5.0.2 for Windows anymore, I found another that did though.

The reason is because they keep the latest version of the branch.
Are you really sure that the game would ignore the lua created with 5.0.3?
Probably you already tried so I'm asking just for my personal curiosity

The game executable has mentions of LUA v5.0.2, not v5.0.3. I disassembled the game and found that out.
