.00p files in District 187 (Lithtech Jupiter EX)

Featured Replies

Hey!

I want to mod District 187; however, i don't have any sources and tools related to D187 except the public SDK release of FEAR which runs on the same engine. I'm looking for a way to mod District 187 with FEAR SDK but since 00p files are compiled and can only be runned by client, i can't open them with SDK. Only 00c and 00a files can be opened so can anybody good with Lithtech engines help?

I remember Lithtech using lta (ASCII files) and ltb (binary) There were ltc, too, afair.

(I have never encountered 00a, 00c or 00p so searching the Xentax archives will be useless, I guess.)

What I saw mentioned there is a converter "LTB to LTA" by dirigien.

There's also 2 Noesis scripts for ltb import.

00a, 00c and 00p file formats are used by Lithtech Jupiter EX (upgraded version of Lithtech Jupiter).

00c = compressed

00a = lta

00p = processed/compiled

anyone?

Unlikely. I fear you'll have to put more efforts yourself.

First step would be to compare 00p to LTB. Hopefully the changes are not too extensive.

edit: did you check F.E.A.R. modding tools?

See link here. (There's an SDK also.)
