(Unity Android/iOS) Madoka Magica Magia Exedra obfuscated files

Featured Replies

heya! i've been trying to look at the files from this game to no avail, this is a very recent madoka magica gacha game that released in Android and iOS, and i was able to dump the downloaded game assets off my iPad to try extracting the assets with no luck, the assets filenames are obfuscated, probably hashed, which is not really something that bothers me

but what bothers me is that the files themselves are encoded/encrypted, i heavily suspect this uses XOR to encode the files since there's mentions of XOR Decoding in the game's code, but i've been having a hard time trying to crack this down

this game runs on the unity engine, so i assume that the decrypted files should be UnityFS assetbundle files, any help would be really appreciated, i've been stuck on this for around 2 days now and i just found out about this forum so thought i could give this a shot, here's a sample file, i have zero clue what format this file originally is on, if anyone needs any more files i'll be happy to send

Thanks so much for sharing your findings about the obfuscated filenames and potential encoding/encryption – that's really valuable insight for the community!

As a huge fan of Magia Record and the whole Madoka Magica series, I'm incredibly interested in exploring the raw game files themselves, even with the challenges you mentioned.

I was wondering if you might still have those dumped raw asset files available? If so, would you perhaps be willing to share them? A link via Mega or Google Drive would be absolutely amazing, if that's convenient for you.

No worries at all if you're unable to or prefer not to share them, I completely understand. Either way, thanks again for your efforts in looking into the game's files!
