Lost Light [ZZZ4/Messiah]

Featured Replies

I wanted to extract some image and model data, specifically for the weapons and attachments for this game. I have a few Garry's Mod addons with this sort of stuff added in.
It seems to use the same ZZZ4 setup as Diablo and Ace Racing, but there are no .mpk/.npk files or anything like that. Everything is sorted into prefixed folders with obfuscated file extensions (some with no extension, some with .6, some with .0)

I was trying to do research, but all of the processes around this format seem to rely on decrypting these files as they are extracted from the .mpk, does anyone know how to modify the bms/noesis scripts to account for this game? I don't mind going without batch processing, I've messed with a few different games like this before but these files have me stumped this time.

It also seems like there's a few scripts and resources that have been taken down over the course of this year that is making it more difficult to find meaningful information about this engine. If anyone has any knowledge of working with this file type i'd be very appreciative. Attached examples of the three files.

Lost Light: A mostly abandoned extraction shooter developed by NetEase, not very popular in the US.
