BanApa Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Yo, I’ve been trying to get a full .uproject reconstruction for Chapter 5 for days now. I’ve followed the standard UE5 decompile tutorials, but i keep on getting stuck. cant even remember the errors... I’m not trying to be a "skiddie" and just grab a download; I actually want to get this thing opening in the Editor to see how they handled the BPs. If anyone has a working reconstruction or the full decompiled uncooked thing, hit me up. Tired of hitting dead ends with these tutorials that don't cover Chapter 5..

The blueprints? Yay, that's a cool dream. Quote the full decompiled uncooked thing Seriously? How about extracting some game assets in a first step?

I don't know what to think. "Knowing someone who got it to work" does mean nothing if you don't show a screenshot at least. Who is it and what got he to work? A working reconstruction or "the full decompiled uncooked thing"? (I'd be very surprised if the latter.) edit: your idea is cool, btw, but if you want help you'll need to provide some details. (I don't owe the game so can't check it for myself.) Edited May 24 by shak-otay

I cant say who has it, but he did get it to work. He decompiles games daily for learning purposes and he has UE forks he made and uses several tools
DKDave Posted May 25 Posted May 25 I'm confused about your post. You're asking for something to be done that someone else has already done? Are they gatekeeping the method/tools (not recommended here)? And why can't you say who they are? But check the rules as well - providing at least some sample files would be useful if anyone wanted to have a look.

I wont say who they are cuz i dont want to and idk if they're fine with it.

Anyways, there's free tutorials around which may be less cool but can serve as a start. Instead of "reconstruction or [having] the full decompiled uncooked thing" (which we are still waiting for an example) I'd suggest to create your own UE5 project and integrate the decompiled assets (I'd check whether this or this can help). (Be sure not to violate copyrights, btw.) Edited May 27 by shak-otay

(Be sure not to violate copyrights, btw.) hey, thanks for all the tutorials. What my real problem is is that i dont have any friends who code c++ who would be up to doing this, so i just need a poppy playtime fan who's willing to help me reconstruct the c++ code and me setting everything up

Good luck.

Good luck. Oh ye i am trying to do that, i dont know how to explain myself, but i am trying to do that. But the game is roughly 80 c++ / 20 bp so thats what makes ts hard.
