Devil May Cry 5 hook file needed (Ekey please help <3)

So I am using the latest BMS resident evil 2 BMS script to try to unpack the DMC5 Pak File, it works, but ofcourse we'll need the list of filepaths, the 2 dll hook files Ekey provided make the game not startup. If anyone can explain to me how to develop those two dll files I will try it myself, or maybe Ekey is generous enough to do it :D

I tried using the RE2 filepaths but that doesn't assign all of the files, I am mostly interested in Soundtracks and Images/videos.

Edit: Actually, the hook file is working, the game just takes too long to load, I thought it crashed. The log file doesn't have the numbers in front of the filepath's though, how can we make the list file only from the filepaths?

Sure I will but how do we turn the log into a list? The RE list has a random number in front of the filepaths. the log is just the filepaths only.

Also, I don't really have time to play the game because of real life stuff, can you (guys) do it?

Edit: There are people that have already completed the game, lets wait for a completed game save file so we don't waste time on it and just load up the save file and load each level and use every ability once to fill the log file. (I assume this is how it works, right?)

After unpacking the fileswith the BMS script, you can extract sounds from .PAK with RavioliGameTools.
Textures (.tex) and models (mes) with the RE2 Noesis plugin.

RE Engine doesn't store filepaths for the files, so it's not possible to extract the pak file because you will have an empty directory. So what we do is we hook up a dll file (just place it in game files) that starts up when you startup DMC5, while playing, that hook file catches the filepaths of each item that loads while you play, it pastes those filepaths in a log file, this log file has to be edited (Ekey can do this, I have no idea how to) into a list file. With that list file we can finally unpack the .pak file.

In other words, somebody has to play/load every level of the game/every menu window for it to load up the files in the log->list file, so we can correctly unpack the .pak file.


The correct BMS script and hook files are on my other pc, can't upload them now
