I've recently been extracting game data from all my games, but I'm stuck on Midnight Club Los Angeles for the PlayStation 3 since there is no QuickBMS script for it.

I've extracted all the .edat files and decrypted them with TrueAncestor. Now I have 4 .dat files.

I've only seen a script mentioned once, but the link redirects to some unrelated website. The URL must've been sold, and now the script is nowhere to be found. Anyone still have the script? Did it even exist?

The files are "carchive_audio.dat", "carchive_cache.dat", "carchive_cache2.dat", and "carchive_music" if that matters.

With a quick google of the file signature i found this http://openiv.com/ which is for modding GTA IV. "Midnight Club Los Angeles" and GTA IV are both made by Rockstar and the same file signature is used in both games so you might want to give it a try.

I tried that since I use the tool, but it's only compatible with GTA 4, GTA 5, Mad Max, and one other game. Midnight Club isn't compatible. This was the first thing I thought of. Plus, it tends to only support PC versions, I tried loading the PS3 version of GTA 5, but there was some unknown error. I couldn't use the tool even if I wanted to.

Also, using OpenIV to add these .dat files into the archives of GTA 5 brings up an error message stating that it's an unknown file type.

Anything else I can try? With the only known script being on a link that brings you to an unrealted page, I'm at a complete loss here.

I'd too be interested in a script to dump these files from the game.

Luigi, I have uploaded some small samples, cut with your script to see what is possible.

And I think it requires this key for the files to be extracted from above samples.
Code:

OK, so a bit more research made and discovered this, we can gain access to the files now by using this tool posted here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxxZFfN35Xg
Now the second problem is the extracted files all have same header, thus making them either compressed and/or encrypted, can anyone please take a look and see what is possible?
Sample posted.
