Hi guys! I was trying to extract Gameloft game Modern Combat 5, it's using new archive format - .gla2. Don't want to spam forum and create new topic, so I'll left sample of .gla2 here. If someone could help that will be great

It doesn't seem related to the Gameloft format.
There are many BRES files but I don't see an index or other related information.

That's sad. But this is a Gameloft game for sure, iOS version of the game .bdae is a model format used in many of their games, not a long time ago I made maxscript for their game N.O.V.A 3, also new game - but there files are in common .gla archives, not this new .gla2

m so much desparate to c whts inside those gla2 files of modern combat 5 but i cant open it.. hlp me if u r there.. also i want to make walls semi transparent or transparent nd again put those files on their place.. just to c will it work? help!! and shud i post link for a file.. bcoz u no they r quite large edit: i also got .bre files not .bres now what how to open them plz any1?

On Xentax there are various posts about BRRES and some (old) info and few tools, search on Google:
"brres" site:xentax.com

There are some chances that it's not the same format of MC5 but you should try to spend some time there and then report your results here.

thanx for ur attention .. ya m on xentax also.. but i didnt found any post regarding to brres there nothing found in search .. i found various files (when i opened gla2 thnx 2 ur nova 3 script it helped a lot it also extracted mc5 .gla2 files and quick bms its awsm) like .dds(thank god they r accessable they contains maps nd textures but not models i think they r in .bre files ) also i tried brres viewer but it cant open them as they r .bre according to google its breumann scanner file and geomagic verify viewer can open it.. but i tried to open it with geomagic but it still doesnt open .. and also how that guy found the model in tht other thread.. that is also the same type bre file ... also there r some .dat files which r unreadable, unplayable, also there r some .mih files. .nfc files (which r used for nokia phones backup) i dont no wht makes sense here .. .dic files, .iwa files, .swf files (which r unplayable by shockwave players may b encrypted) but most of them r .bre and .dat plz hlp me .. m tired of searching the internet (been awake for 77 hours) shud i post link for some files.. y dont u take a look? afterall u r "The Aluigi" edit: ok i got the clue they can b converted via hex2obj but m a total noob in it as i strted just 3 days ago in this field.. on the other thread acewell said that "The header looks consistent with what is documented here

Unfortunately I'm focused only on archives extraction but I'm sure that some other users may have some knowledge, so let's wait.

*edit* moved the topic to 3d/2d section with shadow in Game Archive, that's the max I can do.

Hey aluigi, this is all a bit beyond me. I was wondering if you could figure out how to get this sprite out of there. I've tried a few gla extractor tools and your suggestions above. No luck. Not sure if it's some encryption that the tools aren't up to par with or what. I assume the gla in the attached zip is really some scrambled zip format containing multiple files. the sprite png is really all i'm after.
