Hello everyone, I'm writing here to ask you guys some help regarding Gran Turismo Psp VOL file.
Unlike other GT titles, this archive is crypted and as far as I know there's no way to open it.
I want to dig into it because this game have a LOT amount of unused content, including unused tracks, pictures , logo , track maps etc. On TCRF page I put a lot of stuff, and i'm pretty sure there's a lot more. Using cheatengine is so hard to search stuff, because if you mess up something, emulator crash and it's all back to the beginning.

Of course I also own a legit copy of the game and a real psp, where I test my results
I tried using quickbms script ( the one that works with Tourist Trophy ) but it didn't do the trick.
Can you guys help me somehow?

On this post there's also the decrypted elf file, you can get it with PPSSPP decryption function.

EDIT: VOL file size is 950mb more or less, while iso size is 1gb more or less.

Better if you use the filecutter first because usually the users don't want to download 1Gb for nothing:

Additionally the VOL files have been already seen some times in the past for Gran Turismo and maybe this format of this specific game is already supported by a script.

There's a bms script for Gran Turismo 4 ( and Tourist Trophy ) but it doesn't work with this game. Only offzip works but it will only output tons of 1kb files.

All files into the vol are organized into folders, with simple file format such as png, xml, img etc. For example:
- textdata/gt5m/makerlist.xml
- image/piece_gt5m/course_logo_S/not found.img
- projects/gt5m/arcade/US/StatusRoot.gpb
- sound_gt/track/0156.at3
- piece_gt5m/tunner_logo_S/bmw.img
- image/piece_gt5m/course_map_menu_S/route5.png

I know that because I used CheatEngine in combination with PPSSPP, but you can see these on real hardware too.
The VOL is surely crypted (or at least obfuscated) because you can only read things if the game is opened with emulator; using hex viewer on the vol itself will display wrong characters.
