Changing Texture Font

Hello everyone. I have a font that is .binfnt and I got that is using texture font. so I tried to hes edit it and find somewhere it was DDS string. so I removed everything before that and I made font.dds file. As I got that texture is 960x960 (Am I wrong?).
okay, I want to use my own custom font. so I used bitmap font generator or BMFont. I selected my font (should I change size or height or check Render From TrueType Outline?) In export Options I checked Equalize the cell heights and set width and height to 960 and 960. I left bit depth on 8 and Font descriptor on Text. but I changed Textures to dds and Compression to DXT1. Then I selected all the characters and saved bitmap font. then I hex edited the new.dds and selected everything and replaced in font.binfnt instead of everything after DDS. but this is not working and the game is not showing anything right that means I'm wrong.
