(Update: Problem solved, i let Message undeleted for other Users with same Problem)

Hello all,
first thank you very much for all the Info here and this great Tool: QuickBMS

I managed to extract some Textures with this Tool from Yakuza Kiwami 2 PC Version, but now im unable to open the .dds Files.
IrfanView, Gimp or Photoshop can not open/show the Files

As QuickBMS extracted all 3d Models (.gmd Files) and i can view them with Noesis it "feels" like there is no Problem on extracting all Files with QuickBMS.
Is this .dds File Format something new, do i need a special Plugin to view/edit ?
Would be nice if someone can check the attached Files, maybe i miss something.

Thank you

ps:
if one want to edit the Hostess Dresses 3D Models, as example the Bikini is found inside this Folder "c_cz_x_CIdress_S" from "chara.par"

UPDATE AND SOLUTION:
I checked the Header with Hex Editor, .dds is compressed as DX10.
My DDS Plugin for Photoshop is outdated (Nvidia one) and i found a new Plugin that worked for me:
IntelR Texture Works Plugin for Photoshop:
https://github.com/GameTechDev/Intel-Texture-Works-Plugin

User Kaplas has a solution for Paint.net:

They are DX10 DDS textures.

Install this plugin for paint.net, rename the files to .dds2 and you'll be able to open them

Thanks a lot Kaplas, i managed to find a Photoshop Plugin after i looked in the .dds Header and searched google.
No need to rename File and can save in the needed Format.
Very nice, so fast a answer and now here are two solutions for Users with same Problem :)

Noesis has native dx10 support and can open and convert all your samples. :D

that wont help to edit the textures as noesis is a 3d model viewer only.

what i posted is absolutely true and Noesis is not
just a model viewer, someone been lying to you. :)
you can open dx10 textures with it and convert them to more common
formats that you can import in most any texture editing software.
