So I tried to extract the data.apk using the dbz script but I get errors related to the header references. I don't know if I have to put them in manually or if I did something wrong.
If it helps a bit more when i tried to use the script it says it expects the header but can't find it and instead finds a bunch of garble or just dots and a letter. I'm not sure if i extracted the game files wrong or something but i can't seem to figure this out.

It means your file is corrupted or is encrypted or is just the wrong file.
For sure it's not the PACKTOC format.
Anyway in your screenshot you have cut all the most important information (script, input file, even version of quickbms that may be useful sometimes) so it's impossible to help you without them.
