Hi everyone
I'm trying to extract some sprites from the switch version of Disgaea 1 complete, but so far I had no luck
I already extracted the main game files through some switch game extracting tools, and I was able to get the .dat I needed but now I'm stuck and I'm not able to open/extract anything from it.
If anyone knows how to create a .bms that can extract files from this .dat, please help me!
I already tried using every bms script related to disgaea or nippon ichi, and I already tried using disgaea pc tools.
Also, it may be useful to post the beginning of the file when I open it in HxD, maybe someone knows what type of file this .dat really is
EDIT : I can also send the .dat via PM

That is about Disgaea PC, but I'm talking about a Disgaea 1 complete .dat.
Even though it is a HD port, it's still another game with different files,well, most of them are similiar, but this one in particular is different and I couldn't open this with Disgaea PC tools or scripts

It's only one .dat that I need to open/extract files from, it's this one ty again for the reply

Sorry for the late reply!

There isn't really a folder because the .dat I previously uploaded (the one I need help with) was extracted from another .dat, start.dat, and I extracted it using Disgaea PC file manager, found in Disgaea PC tools ,and as I said, even though they're different games, some files are the same and so I was able to open start.dat with disgaea pc tools. I extracted start.dat from another .dat, SUBDATA.DAT,and I can't remember if I extracted it using a bms script or a software.
But, Disgaea PC tools CAN'T open this SUBDATA.DAT, even though Disgaea 1 PC has the same file. (So, they must have something different)

hi friend, did you manage to get some text in the n aversion of the switch? I used all the tools but it doesn't work, only on pc and psp, did you get it?
