I used 3d_frog_frenzy.bms for another game released by the same (Webfoot Technologies).

When I start the game I get these 2 messages:

I suppose you were using the script in reimport mode.
Try the script using reimport2.bat (in case you used reimport.bat)
If the game still refuses the edited file, it probably checks some checksum in the archive, for example there is a DUMMY field for each file that may be a checksum indeed.
