unpacking and repacking dark sector steam version with the zip2 script, i run into error "Error: unsupported compression -1 in reimport mode" is reimport not supported for this game? i edit script and it works marginally but does not import all files.

i have tried a variety of things to troubleshoot this, including using reimport2, removing the line that had the error (this is what made it half work), and using darksector_nochunk comptype, either same error, different error, or reimport that does not function entirely, any ideas?

any ideas are appreciated, as i am entirely stuck, if im doing something wrong, or am missing something obvious, please let me know, i just learned how to use quickbms a couple of days ago, and my only experience in game extraction is writing an unpacker for an extremely basic unencrypted pack, so i am very likely blind to many basic concepts.

Unfortunately that specific algorithm is not available in "recompress" mode and therefore it's not possible to use the reimport mode.
As far as I remember these files are just normal ZIP archives, only the algorithm is different, so maybe try to create a ZIP archive with the same name, better if you use the "store" method.
No idea, maybe there are already other topics about reimporting used in this game.
