I've used ealayer3 (version 0.70) and it has worked, produced 48 audio files from the WIDE_GENERIC.dat. Just drag the dat file to the ealayer3.exe, or use the command prompt and type:
"ealayer3.exe WIDE_GENERIC.dat" (without ""). There are also options to convert it to mp3, wav, etc. You can use this tool for a ton of EA games.

You can use the same ealayer3 tool, as it also supports encoding. It supports encodement in multiple ea formats, but i think the one compatible with the game you want to import is the headerless v5, and you do it by typing this command line:

ealayer3 -E name.mp3 -o name.dat

If it doesn't work, try and encode in other types, you can view some commands by just doing typing ealayer3 in the command prompt.

For more information, you could also see this forum https://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php? ... 2&start=15

You can also encode multiple mp3 files (ealayer3 -E name1.mp3 name2.mp3 -o name.dat) but they get interleaved to one file of multiple streams, and that's not what you want, so the best way i've come up with is to encode them one by one, then with an HexEditor (I use HxD), copy the contents of one file and paste it at the end of the other file. Works for me, as ive decoded the merged file and got the same mp3 files functional.
