Hello,
I would like to ask if anybody knows how to extract/dump cat, toc and sb archives from Need for Speed Heat.

I've tried multiple version of python scripts found on this forum focused on unpacking frostbite archives, but none of them seemed to work for me.
After few attempts using different scripts for both versions of python 2.7 - x64 and x86, no matter what, but I always get following error:
Code:
Entry does not start with ' or (rare) ? byte. Position: 1

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Please, forgive if this is noobish question, but this is the first time I've tried to dump game files.

You should understand that the number of those who can help is minimal. Everyone has a job, family and other concerns. For me, parsing any formats is just a hobby, nothing more, so I spend more time on my family and work! I think other participants have the same situation :)

Answering your question - few people can help you with the python script, because its author is not here, but you can try using the script for QuickBMS that Luigi wrote.

As Ekey said, we all have our lives first and foremost, and also few people can help, Anthem, Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborvile and Need for Speed Heat have different structure than rest of the Frostbite 3 games, for now there is a partial script working, and what ever other scripts you found will never work as they are, and also The Frosty Tool Suite has a profile for it to load game assets, but currently is not released since is still under development, stuff like this takes time, be patient.

Keep an eye on this link, and once you'll see an update in the upcoming week or two maybe, you'll be able to use it.

Thanks, @Ekey, @cyberspeed.
I didn't know about that, I'm sorry. But thanks for response, that's all I wanted to know. 8-)

I've tried the Frosty Tool but does not simply works for me (even the older games like Battlefield 3 (FB2)). Is there something I'm doing wrong?
"There was an error when trying to load game using specified profile".

And yes, I've tried the version released today (16.1. 2020 - v1.0.5.8).
